Were hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Accountant who will lead financial forecasting budgeting and modelingwhile also managing core accounting responsibilities such as month-end close reconciliations and reporting. This role is a unique opportunity to drive strategic decisions and support operational excellence.
We prefer candidates who are local to Tampa or willing to relocate and we offer relocation assistance.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage detailed financial and sales forecasts budgets and long-term models
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial analysis;identify and explain key variances
- Collaborate with department leaders on strategic planning and performance insights
- Support accounting operations: journal entries month-end close reconciliations
- Prepare executive-level reporting KPIs dashboards and variance reports
- Assist with cash flow forecasting scenario modeling and ad hoc projects
- Ensure compliance with GAAP andmaintain strong internal controls
- Coordinate with external partners for audits tax filings and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA CMA or MBA preferred)
- 5 years in a blended FP&A/accounting or corporate finance role
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tools like QuickBooks NetSuite or BI platforms
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong analytical communication and project management skills
