Director of Emergency Services - Level I Trauma Center Leadership Opportunity
Were seeking a dynamic experienced healthcare leader to serve as Director of Emergency Services at our state-of-the-art facility. In this pivotal leadership role youll oversee all aspects of our busy Emergency Department including clinical operations staff development quality initiatives and strategic planning to deliver exceptional patient care.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing emergency services team of 100 healthcare professionals
- Drive operational excellence through strategic planning resource allocation and process improvement
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient care outcomes and satisfaction
- Manage department budget and resource allocation effectively
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with interdepartmental stakeholders
- Oversee quality metrics and performance improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years recent acute care ED Director/Manager experience
- BSN required; MSN MBA or MHA preferred
- Current RN license in state of practice
- Current certifications in ACLS PALS/ENPC and BLS
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven track record in emergency department operations
