Job Description We are in search of a highly dynamic and detail-oriented individual with industry or practical experience in the assembly electrical hydraulic and pneumatic fields. Specific work in the compaction collection balers or power unit industry is a plus. Personnel with carwash repair or manufacturing maintenance experience have similar skills. While experience in all of these fields is not mandatory having experience in as many as possible will position you for success. Critical to have some leadership background as you will be overseeing a small team of individuals in detailed assembly and testing of collection and compaction equipment with additional duties including pulling parts inventorying supplies and scheduling production. Our products require precision assembly testing and validation stages and are manufactured to the highest standards. Excellent interpersonal skills with a mature ability to deal with stressful situations is critical. Strong analytical conflict resolution and problem-solving skills are core abilities. A self-starter our ideal candidate is highly organized focused on details self-motivated and has a strong mechanical and technical aptitude. This role must be able to schedule work both independently and within a collaborative team. This is an excellent growth opportunity in a fast-paced and technical field for the right candidate. Responsibilities include all facets of leading and working in the assembly compactor power units work cell. This candidate will effectively interpret and work from blueprints electrical wiring diagrams and process standards sheets. Responsibilities - Lead and work side by side with team members to assemble and validate pneumatic and electrical power units bi-sorters compactors and similar equipment to exacting standards in tight timelines. Leader for troubleshooting diagnosis and problem tracing.
- Analyze work orders coordinate with the Plant Manager and Sales on priorities then develop schedules and timelines to complete work orders to customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering operations and sales to ensure all stakeholders and customer needs are being addressed.
- Work with Quality Engineer to develop high level SOPs and inspection plans. Execute same.
- Work closely with purchasing to ensure all materials are available and meet specifications.
- Inspect receive stock and pull components and parts for both assembly and replacement parts for customer orders.
- Use drawings and Bills of Material to properly assemble sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Using pneumatic tools hand tools electric tools and torque tools to assemble and test equipment. Constant use of the hands and excellent dexterity required.
- Train staff to the highest safety and quality standards. Identify opportunities for training evaluate and develop staff.
- Updates own job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities reading technical publications and staying up to date in more recent technologies. Stays updated as to current industry trends and options and able to provide direction for changes.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and accountability for all compaction and collection operations. Pivots quickly with solutions for customization requests.
- Ensure a safe working environment key part of plant safety committee.

Qualifications - High school degree or equivalent. Technical school training union or college education preferred. Work experience considered.
- 1-5 years in verifiable supervision role.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics blueprints and drawings.
- At least 3 years of experience in 2 or more of the following fields: Mechanical assembly hydraulics pneumatics and electrical installation testing and assembly. The ability to thoroughly troubleshoot and solve for issues with pumps and electrical motors is preferred.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Knowledge of machine testing procedures.
- Skillset to do power unit assembly including lifting bending sitting and working with fine motor skills.
