The Clinical Research team at Noom sits at the intersection of science and product innovation. We design execute and communicate rigorous studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of Nooms behavior-change interventions. Our work informs clinical validation product development and go-to-market strategies ensuring that Noom remains a leader in evidence-based digital health. Noom has built a suite of world class digital and clinical interventions to drive powerful health outcomes and has an extremely large user base and dataset offering a unique asset to our clinical research organization.
Noom has developed an exceptional record of published research with over dozens of peer-reviewed papers published evaluating the effectiveness and impact of our programs (see full list here) including multiple gold-standard randomized controlled trials. Nooms research portfolio spans retrospective and prospective studies across health outcomes and health economics in areas ranging from obesity and weight care to psychology and mental health to diabetes and cardiometabolic care and beyond.
About the Role
As we continue to grow were seeking a Head of Clinical Research to lead Nooms clinical research roadmap and ensure it aligns with our business priorities. This is a high-impact leadership role where youll drive the design and execution of rigorous clinical studies manage and mentor a high-performing research team and communicate the scientific credibility of Nooms interventions.
