Description
Oversee janitorial services and staff for client sites within a dedicated territory. Ensure that sites are efficient and profitable. Maintain the companys reputation for serving clients and customers with professionalism and setting a standard of excellence. Salaried position with flexible hours.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure company standards are met within the specified budget by conducting site inspections/audits inventorying supplies/equipment training supervisors & employees and maintaining customer relations.
- Contact customers on a regular basis to ensure services meet contractual requirements and ensure customer retention.
- Perform personnel duties including hiring creating schedules disciplinary action performance reviews etc.
- Responsible for placing supply orders and ensuring sites are properly stocked within the supply expense budget given.
- Responsible for preparing/reviewing payroll and properly educating supervisors on payroll procedures.
- Understand and use proper personnel management skills to resolve problems with employee and supervisory personnel.
- Manage budgets and costs associated with areas of direct responsibility.
- Responsible for compliance with all safety policies and accident reporting.
- Investigate concerns/complaints from clients and take steps to fix the issue and ensure it doesnt occur again.
- Identify possible additional work within sites such as periodic floor work that might be necessary.
- Field calls from clients/employees outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
2-5 years of Management Experience in Related Field
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent Customer Service Time Management & Ability to Prioritize/Work Well Under Pressure
OTHER
Frequent Travel (Valid Drivers License); Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
