cole McTavish High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of Junior and Senior High Cosmetology.
Requirements: The ideal candidate would possess the following background philosophy and experience:
- Bachelors Degree as well as Bachelor of Education.
- Red Seal in Cosmetology
- Possession of a Red Seal in Cosmetology and experience teaching at the junior high and senior high levels.
- The ability to work in a team environment with staff and parents.
- A base knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
- Effective organization skills and classroom management.
- The ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool.
- An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students
- A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom
- An interest in teaching a wide variety of electives
- A commitment to continuous professional growth and a strong ability to connect and build relationships with high school students.
- Open to teaching a variety of elective classes that best suit the successful applicant.
