Ruah is proud to be developing the Karlup Service a holistic wraparound recovery-based model aimed at supporting women and children to heal from family and domestic violence. The Karlup Service will provide a range of offerings from the Ruah Centre for Women and Children (RCWC) a state-of-the-art purpose-built facility in Perths CBD.
Access to trauma and culturally informed financial counselling can be key to a womans journey of recovery and healing. The Karlup Service recognises the type of economic safety support women may need during their recovery journey from family and domestic violence and aims to provide this support to ensure women regain financial independence as a critical step in rebuilding their lives.
As a member of a multi-disciplinary team the Financial Counsellor will provide individual counselling to women who have experienced issues of family and domestic violence to empower them to gain financial independence and effectively manage their finances.
This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week between Monday to Friday.
