Job Description
Job Title: Janitorial Lead School District (Evening Shift)
Hours: MondayFriday 3:00 PM 8:00 PM
- Provide daily leadership direction and motivation to a team of custodians.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to ServiceMaster standards and meet client expectations.
- Act as the point of contact between team members and ServiceMaster management.
- Perform regular walk-throughs at assigned school sites to monitor cleanliness and address any concerns.
- Assign work duties and adjust schedules based on team availability and site needs.
- Train new team members on cleaning protocols equipment usage and safety practices.
- Manage and track cleaning supplies request restocks and maintain inventory at each site.
- Secure school facilities at the end of each shift including locking doors and setting alarms where required.
- Report maintenance needs and incidents to appropriate school personnel and ServiceMaster leadership.
- Ensure all safety and compliance guidelines are followed.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel between sites
- Ability to pass a background check required by the school district
- 1 years of janitorial custodial or related experience
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role a plus
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team-oriented environment with a focus on safety training and support
