Job Description

I. Purpose

The purpose of this position is to manage planning and monitoring of accreditation unit activities to ensure overall effectiveness of unit policies processes and the delivery of accreditation products and services to the CAA programs and other external stakeholders.

II. Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop monitor and manage accreditation project schedules quality assurance processes and accreditation management software to ensure operational efficiency and timely 1) completion of unit projects 2) delivery of accreditation products and services and 3) submission of accreditation deliverables to external stakeholders.
  2. Prepare reports related to program effectiveness using data analysis.
  3. Manage accreditation fee invoicing processes and recordkeeping.
  4. Manage on-site meetings including volunteer travel logistics housing transportation.
  5. Facilitate accreditation team meetings meetings with other staff/ departments volunteers and external individuals.
  6. Special projects as assigned.

This position has the ability to autonomously complete their key responsibilities while also working in a fast-paced highly collaborative environment.

V. Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications:

Knowledge typically acquired through:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Database management and administration experience
  • Data analysis experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience in project and/or program management in professional setting preferably in accreditation
  • Experience in communicating with higher education faculty and administration and/or members of professional associations preferred.

Skills

  • Demonstrated project management abilities and knowledge of project management principles to initiate and manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.
  • Technological experience in database management and administration using an integrated systems approach
  • Ability to communicate complex technical procedures and requirements verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated proficiency using technology to organize and execute projects presentations and documents on a high level of detailed information
  • Interact in a professional manner with ASHA staff volunteer leaders members and consumers and communicate effectively to proactively influence the action of others both orally and in writing including presentations
  • Independently identify and manage sensitive and confidential matters
  • Analyze and provide creative solutions to resolving complex issues
