Position Summary
This is a professional position in which the research assistant will not only provide essential assistance in manuscript preparation but gain valuable work experience. Responsibilities include: Organization of archival and research materials. Helping with literature reviews bibliographies citations and editing tasks. Detailed management of editing projects. The position responsibilities vary based on research project needs. Career Readiness Learning Objectives : Career and Self-Development The student will learn to work independently on projects and will be expected to take initiative and ownership of projects and tasks. Teamwork The student will work closely with the faculty member to smoothly complete all research projects. Communication The research assistant will communicate with the faculty member on a regular basis as well as work on written communication skills. Professionalism The student will be responsible for maintaining a regular work schedule and completing tasks in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications
Graduate Research Assistant must be in a relevant graduate program. The GRA must demonstrate an ability to learn the basics of research in the humanities and most of all be detail-oriented. Organizational skills and a strong command of academic writing in English are necessary for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous research or editing experience is beneficial.
