Join our team as a Roadway Programs Technician 1 where you will contribute to the review analysis and enhancement of maintenance operations in alignment with management goals and departmental guidelines within Westmoreland County. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will perform technical responsibilities to support the evaluation analysis and enhancement of maintenance operations in alignment with the objectives set by management and the policies of the department within Westmoreland County. Your tasks will include reviewing and analyzing data from the Systems Applications and Products (SAP) Plant Maintenance and Roadway Management Systems to ensure that program objectives are met and that overall system controls are upheld. Additionally you will assist in evaluating work plans to confirm that the necessary labor materials equipment and funding are available for their successful execution adjusting these plans as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and shift work required. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
- An Associates Degree in a field of Business Administration Computer Science Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
