Job Description
TheInstructional Assistant Elementary School will provide support to teachers in a classroom setting. This support can include tasks such as grading assignments preparing materials for class and providing one-on-one assistance to students who may need additional help.
Essential Functions
- Work under the direct supervision of the lead teacher.
- Assist the lead teacher with implementing and supervising activities
- Attend staff meetings as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Maintain visual and auditory supervision at all times to ensure the safety of the children in all settings.
- Maintain appropriate communication with families
- Participate in recommended training programs and workshops as directed.
Position Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Meet all other requirements of MSDE Office of Child Care
Range: $16 - $18 Hourly
