DescriptionThe Neurodiagnostic Technologist functions as the multi-skilled component of the Divisions technical staff performing electroencephalography (EEG) Evoked Potentials Autonomic and/or Nerve Conduction Studies. Must demonstrate advanced competency skill and knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedural testing in the area of hire. The technologists are responsible for complete and accurate patient preparation data acquisition and providing a safe testing environment. Must be highly organized efficient and able to work independently. Must be continually involved in advanced job competencies to enhance the work environment.

QualificationsTech I
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years in Electro Neuro Diagnostic procedure testing (this includes clinical experience while attending formal END education).
- Must achieve a National Registry certification in at least one of the neurodiagnostic procedures relative to the needs of the department within 2 years of hire.
- BLS certification
Tech II
- High School diploma or equivalent or Associates degree or higher or an accredited school of END Technology.
- Two or more years in Electro Neuro Diagnostic procedure testing (this includes clinical experience while attending formal END education).
- Certification Registry in one or more of the following: EEG EP NCS CNIM CLTM CAP PSG from an accredited society (AAET ABEM ABRET etc.)
- BLS certification.
Tech III
- Associates degree from an accredited school of EEG/NCS/EP Technology
- Two or more year(s) performing one or more of electrodiagnostic procedures in EEG/NCS/EP/IOM/LTM/Autonomic.
- Certification in two or more of the following: EEG EP NCS CNIM CLTM CAP PSG CNCT from an accredited society (AAET ABEM ABRET etc).
- BLS certification.
