Job Description
TITLE: Software Digital Signal Processing Engineer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $60/hr - $67/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
CLEARANCE: Secret obtainable within reasonable time based on requirements
LOCATION: Scottsdale AZ 85257 (no relocation package)

GeoLogics is currently seeking a MUOS Software DSP Engineer is our Scottsdale AZ location.
As a Space Force MUOS DSP Engineer in the Space Cyber & Intelligence Systems business area youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development and test of specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments whether urban canyon mountains or jungles or even the Arctic Circle. The system provides a familiar cellular phone-like service allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system. Not only do we maintain the current live system but you will help add new capabilities enhancements and replaces end of life components.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of DSP and communications theory
Signals and Systems FFTs FIR filters convolution correlation etc.
Communications or modem design and development
C/C and MATLAB NumPy Python Gnu Radio or X-MIDAS
High performance computing
High speed (100G) networking switch setup selecting switch NIC and transceiver components
IP networking DPDK and MPI
Linux system administration server set up and tuning for DSP
USRP hardware
Spectrum analyzer measurements
Ability to execute the DSP development process
Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
Agile experience preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Requires a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering or a related Science Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
