We are seeking a skilled Design Automation Specialist with a strong focus on Autodesk Inventor to lead the development of automated workflows for drawing and model production. This role is essential to scaling our prefabricated faade system design through smart automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain iLogic scripts and Inventor templates to automate 3D model configuration and 2D drawing generation.
  • Build and manage parametric part and assembly models for modular faade systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and drafters to identify automation needs in the design workflow.
  • Support Revit-based automation using Dynamo scripts and family content customization.
  • Create documentation and user guides for implemented automation tools.
  • Ensure smooth integration of Inventor and Revit data across teams.

Qualifications Snapshot:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Autodesk Inventor with strong iLogic scripting skills; working knowledge of Revit and Dynamo.
  • Programming Skills: Familiarity with Inventor API VBA or .NET for advanced automation.
  • Experience: 35 years in CAD/BIM automation or advanced modeling ideally in manufacturing or prefab construction.
  • Preferred: Background in faade system design; exposure to Forge or Revit API.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving attention to detail and ability to communicate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional work in manufacturing areas; must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
