Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead train and motivate service technicians advisors and support staff while fostering a high-performing team-oriented environment
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient workflow productivity and adherence to safety standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and enhance overall customer experience
  • Manage departmental budget monitor financial performance and drive profitability through labor control and cost efficiency
  • Increase service revenue by supporting customer retention efforts
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines warranty procedures and industry regulations
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate repair orders invoices and service documentation for quality assurance and audit readiness
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in dealership service management with a strong track record of team leadership and service excellence
  • Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and dealership service operations
  • Strong leadership coaching and team-building skills
  • Excellent customer service communication and conflict-resolution abilities
  • Proficient with dealership service software and reporting systems
  • Knowledge of workplace safety protocols OSHA regulations and emergency response procedures
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • Must have satisfactory results with Pre-employment background check Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and drug screen required

Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to bend reach and move in and around vehicles and service equipment
  • Comfortable working in and around a dealership service bay including exposure to noise fumes and varying temperatures
  • Basic familiarity with service tools and equipment to support safe operations and team oversight
  • Ability to respond promptly to safety incidents or emergency situations in the service area
