Overview:

Overview

The Vice President (VP) of Compensation is a key leadership role within the organization responsible for design delivery and continuous improvement of Sentaras compensation architecture across the Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). This role is charged with ensuring compensation programs are strategically aligned operationally sound fiscally responsible and designed to attract retain and reward top talent across all job types and levels including physicians and senior leaders.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Finance or a Business-related field required. Masters degree or advanced certification (e.g. CCP CECP) strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the current and evolving landscape of local state and federal laws codes and regulations pertaining to compensation and benefits (Stark Anti-Kickback FMV etc.)

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in compensation with a minimum of 5 years in an Integrated Delivery Network or large healthcare system. Track record in executing operationalizing and maintaining compensation frameworks and job architecture with expertise in compensation analytics and compliance. Exposure to executive compensation governance is preferred.

  • This is an in-person onsite role to work in Virginia Beach Virginia at the Sentara Corporate Campus.
