Ensure beverage department compliance with all departmental procedures and policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but is not limited to the following)
- Oversee all disciplinary action and training initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and service procedures
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of work areas
- Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by state liquor regulations; particularly those prohibiting service to minors intoxicated persons and drunk driving
- Know all liquor brands beers wines and non-alcoholic selections available to the Beverage department as well as specifications of glassware garnishes for drinks and daily specials
- Inspect plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are ready for service; contact engineering if needed
- Check storage areas for proper supplies organization and cleanliness. Maintain par levels complete requisitions based off business demands.
- Assign work and side duties to team members in accordance with departmental procedures
- Recruit and interview potential candidates who demonstrate The Rows core values
- Inspect team member uniforms and grooming in accordance with company policies
- Conduct pre-shift meetings with Supervisors and review all information pertinent to the days business
- Organize coordinate and direct team members in set-up service and break down of special events in accordance with department standards. Follow up on special arrangements with respective personnel.
- Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts due to hotel occupancy and in house group activities
- Understand P.O.S. hardware and software programming as well as develop and maintain manual back up system and procedures
- Maintain positive relations with guests and Team Members and resolve all complaints through guest/Team Member recovery ensuring satisfaction along with submitting a report to the Director of F&B and Beverage and Nightlife Manager.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations policies and procedures
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge in Food & Beverage cost accounting forecasting and budgeting
- Ability to read write and communicate verbally in English
- Ability to perform intermediate math
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
- Minimum 6 years beverage experience
- Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Work Card and Alcohol Awareness Card required
- High School diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)
- Work may be performed in an area which may be unusually noisy and crowded
- Mobility to include bending reaching prolonged standing and walking accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
- Normal sense of smell touch sound and vision range
- Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Work area is subject to variable temperatures
- May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence have excellent communication skills and observation skills and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off nights weekends holidays and overtime as needed.
