We are seeking a reliable and organized Material Handling Specialist to join our warehouse and logistics team. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting shipments managing inventory preparing outgoing orders and ensuring materials are available where and when theyre needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments per company and carrier standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipment transactions.
  • Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure material availability.
  • Maintain a clean safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE protocols.

Qualifications Snapshot:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 13 years of experience in shipping receiving or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory control practices and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment (certification preferred).
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
