Job Description
Role: Instructional Designer
Duration: 10 months
Location: Primarily Onsite - Richmond VA
We are seeking an experiencedInstructional Designerto develop and implement a comprehensive training program for our client. The ideal candidate will design instructional materials e-learning modules interactive guides and scenario-based training to support end-user readiness. This individual will also be responsible for developing assessment tools and KPIs to measure training effectiveness while ensuring alignment with project schedule scope and budget.

Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive training programs and content
- Design e-learning modules instructional guides and interactive presentations
- Create scenario-based training and simulations
- Develop assessments and performance KPIs
- Ensure training supports end-user readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain scope schedule and budget
- 7 years of experience in instructional design and large-scale training programs
- Strong background in curriculum development
- Expertise in e-learning design and development tools
- Preferred tools: Camtasia SnagIT Microsoft 365
- 7 yearsin training and QA within call center or billing operations (preferred)
- 5 years of operational experience in utilities (water gas) or similar industries (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills approachable good listener with a sense of humor
- Intermediate to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Teams and Forms
