Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer
London (Hybrid)

About the role
As a Pre-Sales Engineer at ToffeeX you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by providing deep technical expertise throughout the sales process. You will be a key technical partner to our sales team empowering prospects to envision and realize the value of our advanced physics-driven generative design software.
You will engage directly with clients understand their engineering needs and challenges and design compelling proof-of-concept demonstrations. Your ability to bridge technical and commercial conversations will be key to driving successful customer engagements and building long-lasting relationships. Main responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions.
- Lead technical presentations product demonstrations and workshops for prospects and customers.
- Develop and deliver POCs with ToffeeX to showcase value and feasibility.
- Respond to technical questions and objections during the sales cycle providing clear and concise explanations.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a technical pre-sales or application engineering role within the Aerospace Automotive CAE/design software industry or similar.
- Hands-on experience with CAE tools (e.g. ANSYS Abaqus SolidWorks Fusion 360).
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in scripting or programming (e.g. Python C) would be beneficial
- Experience developing and delivering POCs for engineering
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings workshops and industry events (up to 20%).
