We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Donor Relations Coordinator & Community Support Agent who thrives on providing exceptional support to our donors clients and community members. In this role you will respond promptly to inquiries address concerns with empathy and efficiency and cultivate meaningful lasting relationships with our valued donors consistently upholding the highest levels of professionalism and care.
You will also engage donors over the phone during various campaigns championing our fundraising initiatives with enthusiasm and clarity. Your strong communication skills and talent for building positive connections will be vital to advancing our mission and ensuring our continued success.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to a high volume of incoming phone calls from donors discussing their needs while fostering strong donor relations.
- Address and resolve a variety of donor and client concerns and complaints and escalate unresolved matters as needed.
- Respond to a high volume of incoming phone calls from clients and community members seeking The Mustard Seeds programs and services. Providing up-to-date information and escalating unanswered matters as needed
- Maintain accurate donor account records by updating account information regularly
- Conduct outbound calls to express gratitude to our Donors for their contributions and promote fundraising campaigns to encourage additional donations.
- Maintain key performance indicators outlined through monthly call and fundraising revenue goals
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all programs services and donation needs to effectively assist donors clients and community members
- Supporting Donation Processing on a as-needed basis during busy seasons where additional support is required to maintain our communication and processing deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 2-4 years of experience in donor relations customer service or fundraising preferably within a non-profit setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills discernment good listening skills to build and maintain relationships with donors and team members.
- Capacity to handle sensitive donor issues and complaints with empathy and professionalism
- Proven ability to address and resolve donor client and community members concerns and complaints in a professional manner
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in using CRM software Microsoft Office Suite Salesforce and Natterbox preferred.
- Understanding of fundraising principles donor engagement strategies and non-profit operations.
- Strong commitment to providing outstanding client community member and donor support
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to manage a high volume of phone calls and inquiries while maintaining composure and professionalism
- High level of emotional intelligence to navigate sensitive client and donor interactions and foster positive relationships.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Primarily based in an office setting with a quiet and professional atmosphere conducive to phone communication.
- Potential for hybrid or remote work options depending on organizational policies.
- Regular business hours with occasional evening or weekend hours required during peak fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborative work environment with regular interaction with team members management and other departments.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer and telephone with occasional movement for team meetings and events.
