We have an exciting opportunity to join our ANZ Materials team as Material Planner for Co-pack and external Manufacturing reporting to the Materials Manager based at Ringwood. You are responsible for the creation & management of purchase orders for Raw & Pack materials for several MDLZ operations within our network as well as maintaining floor & system inventory accuracy. Through this you will providean uninterrupted supply of materials for the manufacturing process while preventing waste &following all policies and procedures of the company.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work effectively with internal ( Supplier/ Copack Production & supply planning teamsprocurement plant warehouse & logistics teams plant BD-business development and othermulti-functional resources) & external stakeholders (suppliers transportation vendors etc.) toensure consistent and reliable supply of materials for production use in accordance to ourstandards procedures and protocols. Proactively and timely report any production orVendor/shipping/carrier issues and enlist supplier transporter planning teams to pre-empt anybusiness impact and/or accommodate changes production and/or delivery schedules asappropriate.
  • Execute MRP -Material requirement planning systems Defining & maintainingboundaries and parameters Materials call offs processes; RM/PM raw & packing materials and assist with finishproduct supply chain set up for new products where necessary in collaboration with BD; Vendor conformance to scheduleBuild self and other KeyUsers capability on SAP planning systems; Manage inventory for RM & PM and FPas per KPI targets Plant / Copacker DMS participation and alignment for Operational excellence Support IBPpreparation & dashboard completion Adhering to Manufacturing compliance and governance standards.
  • Adopt IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working and standard work processes and own one or morePillar systems/ processes at the site/ area level. Actively participate in Supply Network (SN) pillar activities andlead systems and projects to driveSupply Chain Loss Analysis and elimination; work on Supply Networkcapabilities to drive value and loss elimination.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • 3 years relevant work experience in material planning demand planning inventory management &handling purchasing and/or Forecasting
  • Experience in fast moving manufacturing environment preferably food or other fast moving dynamic industry where shelf life is a constraint is preferred
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word Excel PowerPoint) & experience in ERP (SAP)systems
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) analytical & problem-solving skills strongcollaboration and relationship management skills.
  • Team player who can work with many other functions on a daily basis
