The hospitals heart attack treatment times consistently beat the national average and the hospital offers two cardiac catheterization labs available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Groundbreaking cardiac procedures at Dominican include the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patients Hospital has forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County. The hospital offers a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through a partnership with Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital Stanford. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Performs all routine and emergency radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and operates the CT scanner (or IR) for limited procedures. Performs proficiently in all aspects of two or more modalities. Provides Radiology services to all ages.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- One year or more as a staff technologist.
- Must meet all Rad Tech I and Rad Tech II Competencies
- Completion of California State Certification requirements (C.T. R.T.T.)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.)
- Completion of California State Fluoroscopy permit
- Current CPR certification
- Completion of California State Certification requirements (C.T. R.T.T.)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.)
- Completion of California State Fluoroscopy permit
- Current CPR certification
Preferred:
- CT experience preferred
