Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent model validation and provide a comprehensive effective challenge of models by partnering with model owners and developers following company policies regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders ensuring effective communication and understanding of model validation findings.
- Review ongoing model performance monitoring reports to ensure satisfactory performance and suggest corrective actions where required.
- Monitor the remedial actions taken by model owners and developers to ensure model validation findings are addressed in a timely manner.
- Provide risk reporting outcomes of risk assessments and manage issues originating from risk assessments until their resolution.
- Extensive experience in model risk management including model validation and performance monitoring.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to model risk management.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with risk management frameworks and tools such as Archer is a plus.
- Familiarity with technology and operations risk management.
- Knowledge of threat modelling and insider threat management.
- Proficiency in using data analysis and statistical software tools.
