Locum - CRNA - Anesthesiology - CRNA Sanford FL

Location: Florida Level II Trauma Center

A high-acuity surgical facility in Florida is seeking a Board-Certified CRNA to support its cardiac and general anesthesia service line. This is a flexible shift-based opportunity ideal for experienced providers comfortable working under a cardiac care model with consistent case volume.

The incoming provider will handle a balanced case mix of cardiac and general surgical procedures with all cardiac cases performed under direct supervision. Providers must meet strict eligibility criteria and licensing standards and be available for a minimum of 10 shifts per month.

Trauma Designation: Level II

Required Monthly Shifts: Minimum of 10

Case Mix: Approx. 50% Cardiac / 50% General

• General Surgery Orthopedics and Trauma

• No OB cases

Cardiac Cases: 100% under supervision

EMR System: Medixacon

Must hold an active Florida medical license

No prior malpractice or background concerns

Must complete and submit:

• NPDB self-query (clinician must agree to submit directly)

• Signed disclosure form

• Current skills checklist

• Updated CV

Must be fully credentialed before start (ICA and forms must use current system template)

First available start date

Number of shifts available per month

Which upcoming month is their schedule fully open

Any shift preferences (Day Night Blocks)

Any known conflicts over the next 3 6 months

Holiday availability over the next 3 6 months

Note: If provider does not meet all criteria approval must be obtained before name-clear submission.

BLS American Heart Association

ACLS

PALS

NBCRNA Certification

A phone or Zoom interview with the sites Medical Director and/or Clinical Leadership is required prior to credentialing

Must provide a contact number and best availability over the next two weeks with submission

Clinician will have the opportunity to ask clinical or operational questions during the interview

Locum tenens shift-based assignment

Florida-based candidates are not eligible if they have worked at this or affiliated sites within the past 12 24 months or live within a 75-mile radius

Candidates who have never worked for the organization must live outside the 75-mile radius
