This assignment will be at our Main Campus 1919 E Thomas Road Phoenix AZ 85016 COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children s prior to starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination& Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the respiratory virus season. Job Summary: This position in collaboration with the healthcare team patient and family coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum. This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care regulatory standards and organizational values. Experience Requirements: 2 years nursing experience 1 year of pediatric Pre and Post-Op/PACU experience Education Requirements: Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing a four-year degree (BSN) in nursing or a Diploma Nursing degree. BSN preferred. Certification/License/Registry Requirements: Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association. CNOR Preferred.
