A reputed Ship Management Group operating at Sikka Port Terminal Jamnagar specializing in marine operations cargo handling and vessel management services for bulk and tanker operations. The company is known for its operational excellence and commitment to maritime safety and efficiency.
About the Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer in the Marine Operations team you’ll be responsible for supervising the mechanical aspects of port and marine equipment ensuring operational readiness performing routine maintenance and maintaining critical mechanical systems that support vessel operations at the port terminal.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure regular maintenance of port handling equipment and marine machinery.

Support in the inspection troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems on-site.

Monitor operational readiness of port utilities and marine mechanical systems.

Maintain equipment records maintenance schedules and service logs.

Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols marine operational standards and terminal guidelines.

Coordinate with vendors ship crew and terminal teams for seamless daily operations.

Assist in planning mechanical repairs overhauls and procurement of spare parts.

Provide technical support during vessel berthing unberthing and cargo operations.
Basic Requirements:

Qualification: BE / in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Marine Operations.

Sound technical knowledge of marine machinery port handling equipment and mechanical systems.

Good understanding of safety protocols in marine and port environments.

Strong troubleshooting coordination and documentation skills.

Willingness to work in a dynamic marine operational environment.
Salary:
22000 to 30000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
