Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Collaborate with business analysts developers and project managers to understand functional and technical requirements.
- Develop document and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts for insurance software systems.
- Perform functional integration regression and user acceptance testing (UAT) across web and backend systems.
- Validate system workflows related to insurance operations (e.g. policy administration claims processing underwriting billing).
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
- Assist in the creation of test data and environments simulating insurance scenarios.
- Provide QA support during production deployments and post-release validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 3 years of QA experience in software implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Prior experience working on projects in the insurance industry (property & casualty life health etc.).
- Experience with testing tools like JIRA TestRail HP ALM or similar.
- Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman SoapUI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
