Job Summary
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities ensuring efficient project execution inventory management and logistics. This role will manage the company s supply projects for clients oversee festive season decorations and maintain optimal control of inventory d cor and storage. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and operational expertise. Additionally the Operations Manager will work closely with the entire team to ensure seamless coordination between Admin logistics and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Logistics
- Plan coordinate and supervise the execution of Christmas decoration projects.
- Manage the supply and distribution of branded items to clients ensuring contractual obligations are met.
- Oversee procurement vendor management and logistics for timely project delivery.
- Develop project timelines schedules and budgets to ensure cost-effective execution.
2. Project & Inventory Management
- Oversee and manage Christmas inventory including d cor and storage facilities.
- Develop and implement an efficient inventory tracking system to optimize stock control.
- Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of branded items and festive decorations.
3. Supervision & Team Leadership
- Directly manage and oversee the operations team and field staff involved in Wow Christmas operations.
- Ensure team alignment with operational goals and efficiency in task execution.
- Conduct training and performance reviews to enhance productivity and professional development.
4. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure that all decorations branded item supplies and inventory meet Christmas quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with health safety and environmental regulations particularly for storage and execution.
- Implement best practices for risk management in all operational activities.
5. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients ensuring seamless project execution.
- Address and resolve client concerns ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Client Services team to enhance client relationships and operational efficiency.
6. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Generate detailed reports on project performance inventory status and operational efficiency.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement operational strategies to enhance overall productivity.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operations and logistics.
Key Requirements
Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Operations Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in operations project management or supply chain management preferably in an events or retail business.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and logistics coordination.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the other departments.
Work Conditions
- Office-based with frequent travel to project sites and client locations.
- May require extended working hours during peak project periods (festive seasons) etc.
