Job Description
You will work across the full project lifecycle from gathering business and technical requirements to delivering production-ready solutions and ongoing support driving high-quality engineering practices and collaborating with a diverse and skilled global team.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing cloud and big data (Hadoop) solutions
Driving end-to-end delivery: requirements analysis functional/system design development testing deployment and documentation
Analyzing and optimizing data architectures and interfaces
Supporting troubleshooting and resolving ad-hoc technical issues
Providing transparency on task and project status through regular updates
Writing scripts (e.g. Python Shell) for automation and data processing
Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments
Requirements
You re the right fit if you have:
Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Computer Science Mathematics or related field
5 7 years of experience in software/data engineering
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and Hadoop ecosystems
Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and proficiency in SQL
Solid experience in Python and/or UNIX Shell scripting
Familiarity with data analytics tools such as DataIKU Tableau or similar
Experience optimizing large data processes and loads
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proactive structured and team-oriented mindset
Fluent in Hungarian and English Hungarian citizenship required
