Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Construction Manager to join our clients team in Pompano Beach Florida.
In this role you will oversee all aspects of roofing projects ensuring high-quality workmanship timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
- Manage multiple roofing projects simultaneously from planning to completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource allocations
- Coordinate with clients subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
- Interpret blueprints specifications and building codes to guide project implementation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Lead and mentor roofing crews fostering a culture of excellence and safety
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control
- Resolve on-site issues and make critical decisions to keep projects on track
- Prepare and present progress reports to upper management and clients
- Stay updated on industry trends new materials and innovative roofing techniques
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in roofing construction with at least 3 years in a management role
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials installation techniques and industry best practices
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent understanding of construction blueprints and specifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets schedules and resources effectively
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid OSHA certification
- Current roofing contractor license
- Thorough knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders/scaffolding
- Willingness to travel to different job sites within the region
