We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Birmingham AL. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service accurately handle cash and card transactions and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. This role is essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide friendly helpful service
Accurately process sales transactions using POS systems
Handle cash credit and debit card payments efficiently
Issue receipts refunds or exchanges as required
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout station
Assist with bagging merchandise and resolving customer inquiries
Monitor inventory at the register and report shortages
Follow all company policies and procedures
Qualifications :
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
Strong mathematical and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
