Mitchell College offers an exciting opportunity for a part-time faculty member who would like to be involved in a collaborative forward-looking business program. We seek to hire part-time (adjunct) faculty with a focus on quantitative reasoning including college algebra statistics and business analytics. Courses are taught 100% on campus in New London and scheduled during the work week (day and early evening classes) on a Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday schedule.
Required Education and Experience:
Masters degree in math statistics business analytics business finance or a closely related field
At least 5 years of professional experience ideally in math statistical analysis or business analytics role
Some experience teaching in higher education would be an advantage.
Key Skills / Knowledge:
Microsoft Office Suite
Moodle LMS or other online teaching & learning platform would be an advantage
Passion for teaching and for working with diverse learners.
