Job Description
- Quantitate antigens using antibody-based assays including ELISA and Western blot
- Generate recombinant DNA constructs using techniques including nucleic acid extraction PCR gel electrophoresis
- Perform Metabolite Analysis (e.g. Cedex Nova2 Rebel)
- Perform Endotoxin Testing
- Maintain cell cultures
- Keep accurate experiment records
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in biology microbiology biochemistry molecular biology or other related disciplines with 1-2 years working experience in biological research laboratory
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- General background in microbiology
- Basic knowledge of antibody-based immunoassays (e.g. ELISA and Western blot)
- Experience in molecular and cellular techniques
- Hands-on experience with viruses and bacteria
- Ability to work as part of a team self-motivation adaptability fast-paced timeline driven and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies

Additional Information :
- Position is full-time first shift.
- Occasionally more than 40 hours per week may be required including weekends.
- Lifting: May include occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Work will be conducted in both lab and office facilities.
- Work environment: The person filling this position works in a BSL-2 laboratory. There may be exposure to animal pathogens chemicals and bio hazardous materials. Lab safety training is required for this position.
