Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team in Khopoli India. As a Security Supervisor you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees guests and assets. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in security operations.
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the security team ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement security protocols including emergency response plans and loss prevention strategies
- Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Liaise with local law enforcement and fire safety officials to maintain positive relationships and ensure compliance with regulations
- Train and mentor security staff on best practices emergency procedures and customer service skills
- Monitor and maintain security equipment including CCTV systems access control devices and communication tools
- Investigate and document security incidents preparing detailed reports for management
- Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and implement solutions
- Manage staff schedules vacation time and performance evaluations
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging security technologies to continuously improve security measures
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain accurate security records
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate with relevant authorities when necessary
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Security Management or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory security role preferably in a hotel or corporate setting
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and security software
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols emergency procedures and loss prevention techniques
- Experience with CCTV systems and access control management
- Physical fitness to respond to various security situations
- Valid security license (if required by local regulations)
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor
- Crisis management and conflict resolution skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
