Make an impact in Deakins Infrastructure & Digital division following an exciting period of change within the University. This key position is focused on enhancing the customer experience through integrating physical and digital infrastructure projects and services to deliver seamless impactful solutions tailored to customer needs.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Project Delivery the Project Manager is responsible for the definition approach facilitation and completion of various physical infrastructure projects. Working closely with leaders teams and key stakeholders across the university the Project Manager builds relationships to ensure that efficient effective and timely services and projects are provided within specified project timelines.
To be successful youll have:
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training (building construction architecture engineering IT project management)
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Direct relevant experience working as a project manager in physical infrastructure environment (specifically capital infrastructure and built environment projects plus construction project procurement and delivery methodologies)
- Significant proven experience in the delivery of high complexity projects with large stakeholders groups with proven ability to recognise and critically analyse stakeholders requirements.
- Working knowledge of commonly used construction contracts and accepted administration practises construction industry including Building Codes (NCC) Australian Standards (AS) ISO Standards Environmental and Sustainability Standards and Occupational Health and Safety Standards .
