- The principal responsibility is to ensure the effective delivery and support of the clients security controls across its network systems applications and data.
- The security engineering manager will lead a team that is responsible for the effective configuring of security technologies like; Web application Firewall Unified Threat Management (UTM) Firewalls Network Access Controls and Platform Security related tools like privilege access management (PAM) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
- The Lead will ensure these technologies used to protect the states information systems and critical systems are optimally configured and tuned to achieve the best possible results from the investments.
- The Security Engineering Lead is expected to be technically proficient in the disciplines supervised and provide a modest degree of direct technical support where required.
- Specific functions will include Staff supervision Leadership Project / Task / Resource management Administrative - as needed including various meetings and management reporting Technical Support Internal Customer Relationship Management and Customer Service Excellence.
- The Security Engineering Lead will report to the Director of Enterprise Security Operations.
Details:
- Technical experience in one or more of the core technical requirements and related product support in a 24x7 operational environment.
- Network Security Tools (Firewalls IDS/IPS).
- Web Application Firewall.
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Cloud Security Systems and Tools.
Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience qualifications and local market. Also some positions may include bonuses or other incentives.
