The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC) is searching for a Mental Health Team Coordinator candidate who is committed to making a difference in the lives of Arizonas youth. This position will work under the direction and leadership of the Clinical Director of Psychological Services will manage treatment program delivery oversee the operations of therapeutic crisis interventions such as the Temporary Stabilization Units and Suicide Prevention coordinate multi-disciplinary program planning teams oversee the Intake Reception Assessment and Classification (RAC) and Treatment planning develop programs and monitor progress and training. A MHTC may supervise clinical staff working within a program they oversee. Professional experience in a correctional setting
REQUIRED: Doctoral or Masters Degree in Professional Psychology Clinical Psychology Social Work or closely related field with two (2) years of clinical and program experience.
REQUIRED: Must possess a current active Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) license must be current and active to engage in the practice of behavioral health in the State of Arizona (See Arizona Revised Statute) AZBBHE licensure is a condition of continued employment.
If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function on the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid class-appropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license records checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R.010).

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a comprehensive background investigation behavioral assessment and a drug test and post employment physical examination.
