The Treasury Technology team build and support solutions for Westpac Group Treasurys management of core Funding as well as measurement and management of Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk. Treasury Data Platforms are a central function of the banks core operations and over the next few years will see considerable transformation from Treasurys data modernisation strategy as well impact from the core banking technology simplification program. The Senior Solution Designer is an important new role that will contribute to major parts of the solution design and planning of the many interdependent streams.
The role is also responsible for managing Data Solutions and Integration sub-streams across Treasury and Enterprise programs engaging stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions. Duties include driving process re-engineering preparing impact assessments and technical designs and collaborating with analysis development and operations teams to ensure effective delivery.
What do I need
- Very strong batch data ingestion/processing experience Control-M or similar batch tool large volume data and job processing.
- Solution & Data Designer/Architect/Security/Compliance experience.
- Legacy and Modern Data related technologies experience - SQL Server Azure Snowflake/Databricks Python & SQL.
- Personal interest in process automation & opportunities for AI.
- Strong presentation and communication skills to Head of Department level.
