Job Description
- Design develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration from multiple sources.
- Implement data transformation and cleansing routines to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to identify data requirements and structure.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Monitor ETL jobs for performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Participate in data modeling activities to support warehouse design.
- Document ETL processes and technical specifications for future reference.
- Work with cloud-based data integration tools and platforms.
- Test data workflows and validate outputs to ensure accuracy and performance standards.
- Maintain and enhance existing ETL pipelines to improve efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new data solutions.
- Stay current with emerging ETL technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical support and assistance to data users within the organization.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 2 years of experience as an ETL Developer or in similar role.
- Proficient in ETL tools such as Informatica Talend or Microsoft SSIS.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases like SQL Server Oracle or MySQL.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices for data stewardship.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for technical documentation and report presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in ETL or data management are desirable.
