Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping 10-60:
- Deal with client queries.
- Process payroll.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including general ledger accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Process invoices payments and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing (GST payroll tax superannuation).
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
Financial Analysis 10-40:
- Support the client-facing CFO in dealing with client queries.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Support with financial forecasts and budgets.
- Run reports reconcile values between reports.
Administrative support 20-40:
- Support the business owners with internal administrative tasks: updating client register renewing corporate insurance helping organise client events etc.
- Manage the business own bookkeeping and accounting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial analysis
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (Xero)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
