Under general direction serves as Payroll and Timekeeping Manager for the Division of Mental Health Developmental Disabilities Clinical & Administrative Programs Rehabilitation Services and Substance Use Prevention and Recovery. Develops and implements agency payroll and timekeeping policy and procedures for Department of Human Services (DHS) Facilities and other assigned areas of the department. Delivers professional training programs to payroll liaisons on-site and remote. Serves as working supervisor to staff responsible for the payroll and timekeeping administration for the Division of Mental Health Developmental Disabilities Rehabilitation Services and Substance Use Prevention and Recovery. Serves as liaison between DHS and the Comptrollers Office on payroll and compensation problems and/or deficiencies in the payroll operations at the State Operated Facilities and other assigned areas of the calculation of withholdings and compensation due prior to processing CMS (Central Management Services) or Court of Claims for payment. Confers with Labor Relations staff in providing information into grievances.
