Special Education ParaprofessionalEpping School DistrictFY 2024-2025 in Epping NH 03042The Epping School District is a dynamic and inclusive learning community committed to fostering academic excellence personal growth and social development for all students. Our dedicated team is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment for all are seeking a dedicated educator to join our team as a Special Education Paraprofessional to provide student assistance for students 3 to 21 years of age under the professional guidance and supervision of Special Education Teachers. Special Education Paraprofessionals work in district schools and in some cases alternative settings per the students individual education program either individually or in small groups by providing basic instruction in abilities and skills developmentally appropriate to the student(s). ResponsibilitiesAssist special educators and classroom teachers in the implementation of IEPs (Individual Education Plans) in both the regular education and special education settings. This may include individual (1-1) or small group instructional strategies and techniques to facilitate the inclusion of individuals with learning and maintain with special education teachers and related service providers around individual student goals accommodations and progress. This includes areas such as fine motor sensory regulation communication gross motor personal care executive functioning social/behavioral transition and life and submit data needed for Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and IEP weekly service documentation (including Medicaid to Schools if applicable).Carry out assessment activities to collect and document objective information about the students strengths and teachers with developing evaluating and updating student in scheduled professional development and training sessions.
