Position Summary
JM Huber is seeking a Forklift Operator at Active Minerals International an Attapulgite Clay production facility in Quincy FL.
Forklift Operator: This position loads trucks and containers according to work orders along with moving pallets or bags from the production areas.

Entry Rate: $18.90
1st Shift: 7am - 4pm M-F weekends as needed
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret packaging work orders.
- Identify proper orders to be loaded by matching pickup number with bill of lading number.
- Inspect loads to make sure it matches work order and bill of lading before loading.
- Pre-operational checks on equipment at the beginning of each shift.
- Inspect and load trucks containers and boxcars according to work order and truck loading pattern.
- Operate stretch-wrap machine.
- Operate forklift as needed to move pallets bags or clean up hopper.
- Housekeeping around work area to include sweeping the warehouse.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
- High School graduate or GED.
- Effective communication both written and verbal.
- Must be able to work individually and in a team atmosphere.
- Strong moral and ethical standards.
- Must be able to operate forklift requires good eye hand coordination and smooth and simultaneous hand and foot control operation.
- General working knowledge of MSHA Safety requirements.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a production environment. Position requires lifting pulling pushing and carrying up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to sit stand walk bend stoop and climb up to 70 feet. Able to operate hand and foot controls simultaneously. Manual dexterity required for operation of hand controls and/or computer keyboard. Vision and a sense of hearing are also required.
