- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax calculations
- Reviewing and submitting VAT PAYE and Compensation Commissioner returns
- Preparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations (Cash/Debtors/Creditors) and management accounts
- Liaising with clients and the South African Revenue Service (SARS)
- Managing and training a team of SAIPA trainee accountants and reviewing their work
- Monitoring the teams time allocation against financial budgets
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have strong technical knowledge (IFRS for SMEs) to accurately prepare and review financial statements from trial balance
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Hold a SAIPA-accredited university degree
- Have completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- Have a valid drivers license
