Whistle Bend Elementary School is a brand new state-of-the-art K- to Grade 7 elementary school focusing on 21st century learning principles. We are located on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dn First Nation and Taan Kwchn council. The school is situated in a brand new rapidly growing diverse and culturally inclusive subdivision. As Whistle Bends first school the citizens are excited to foster community spirit and nurture the next generation of learners.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Please clearly demonstrate on your cover letter and resume how you meet the following qualifications and experience:
Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
Experience working with youth
Experience working with youth with special needs would be considered an asset
Post-secondary training in educational assistant exceptionality worker special education assistant teacher education or a related field would be considered an asset
Experience integrating self-regulation and social-emotional care practices in the classroom is an asset;
