The OSP (Outside Plant) 1 is responsible for gathering information from poles and thoroughfares including their measurement survey and other critical data plus identifying public rights-of-way.
Responsibilities:
Identifies power and communication facilities and ownership on utility poles.
Provides field drawings of measured streets and ROW (right-of-way) objects.
Completes Pole Aerial Survey forms.
Reviews and corrects information on the JPA (Joint Pole Authorization) to actual field conditions.
Performs field meets with other utilities as well as private homeowners and developers on an as needed basis.
Learns new forms and processes as they are added to the program.
Meets daily per pole goals.
All other duties as required
Skills / Other:
Clean and current Drivers license (MVR check) in the State applying.
Able to work independently.

Education/Training:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Able to operate mobile devices (iPad cellphone).
Familiar with measurement tools.
Familiar with and regularly follows safety protocols
Experience:
1 Year of experience working with utility poles and public ROWs preferred
Compensation: $22-25/hr DOE
