Job Description
Position: Part-Time Family Assistant / Housekeeper
Location: Bryn Mawr PA
Schedule: Part-Time Flexible Hours (with occasional extended days as needed)
Salary: Competitive & Flexible Based on Experience (DOE)
Overview:
A warm and busy household in Bryn Mawr is seeking a reliable proactive and personable Family Assistant/Housekeeper to join their home team. This individual will be a key support figure acting as the right hand to the lady of the house and helping to ensure smooth daily operations. The household includes two adult daughters (in and out of the home) two beloved Vizsla dogs and a second residence in Stone Harbor NJ. The family also travels quarterly so flexibility and reliability are essential.
The Ideal Candidate:
This role requires a self-starter who is calm highly organized trustworthy and respectful. You should take initiative be comfortable managing a gracious home and enjoy working with pets. This is more than just a housekeeping jobthis person will be a true partner to the homeowner in maintaining a welcoming well-run home.
Key Responsibilities:
General household assistance and personal support for the homeowner. Deep cleaners come 1x/week.
Laundry: washing ironing folding (includes bed linens and personal clothing)
Pet care including feeding and occasional walking of two dogs
Light cooking as needed
Local errands such as grocery shopping post office and dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up
Managing petty cash and liaising with household vendors (cleaners landscapers etc.)
Occasional oversight of the home during family travel
Ensuring tidiness and organization between weekly deep cleanings (done by professional cleaners)
