Job Description
- Training and Development:
- Develop and implement individualized and team training plans.
- Instruct athletes in proper techniques and strategies for various events.
- Provide feedback and guidance to help athletes improve their performance.
- Monitor athlete progress and adjust training plans as needed.
- Team Management:
- Recruit and develop new talent.
- Manage team schedules practices and travel.
- Oversee team operations including equipment and facilities.
- Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure adherence to school district and athletic association regulations.
- Monitor student eligibility and academic performance.
- Maintain accurate records of training programs practice schedules and meet results.
- Communication and Relationships:
- Communicate effectively with athletes parents and school staff.
- Develop positive relationships with athletes and foster a positive team environment.
- Event Planning:Organize and manage practice sessions track meets and competitions.
- Equipment Management:Maintain and organize track and field equipment.
- Safety:Ensure the safety of athletes during practice and competition.
- Continuing Education:Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques strategies and trends.
